The faithful of Our Lady of Africa – Maula Cathedral are preparing to come together in joy and thanksgiving as they celebrate a significant milestone in the life of Fr. Anselme, who marks both his 5th Anniversary of Priesthood and his birthday this Friday.

The celebrations will begin on Friday, 26th June 2026, with the first Thanksgiving Mass scheduled for 6:00 AM at the cathedral.

The celebrations will continue on Sunday, with a second Thanksgiving Mass taking place at 8:00 AM at the same venue. This Mass offers another opportunity for those unable to attend Friday’s event to join in the thanksgiving and prayers for Fr. Anselme.

Following the Mass, there will be a social gathering, where attendees are encouraged, where possible, to bring along food or drinks to share, fostering a spirit of community and fellowship.

Adding a practical and communal dimension to the weekend, parishioners will also participate in a gardening activity at the father's garden, beginning at 1:00 PM on Sunday.

All members of the public are invited to attend both celebrations at Our Lady of Africa – Maula Cathedral, as the parish comes together in thanksgiving, prayer, and shared joy.
