FAMILY DAY ANNOUNCEMENT

Parishioners are informed that the Parish will celebrate Family Day on Sunday (Feast of the Christ the King), 23rd November 2025. On this special day, there will be two Masses (the first at 6:30 am, and the second at 9:00 a.m.). The celebration will be held jointly with the international community, symbolizing our unity as one family in Christ. All couples celebrating their marriage anniversary - those marking 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 years, and so on are encouraged to register with their Small Christian Community (SCC) leaders for participation in the day's events. The cloth to be used on the day is Eucharistic congress and is available in the bookshop @ Mk 13,500.00

The Family Day will have many exciting activities, these will include among others;

Eucharistic celebration.

Renewal of marriage vows during the Mass.

Blessing the single parents.

Lunch (to be prepared from SCC)

Special talks on family life and faith.

Additionally, the day will have fundraising activities to support the completion of the renovated church church toilets. These include:

A cake sale.

Perekani perekani contributions.

Sale of special gifts and bouquets.

A children's playground.

We are all encouraged to take part in this joyful occasion as we celebrate our families, strengthen our bonds of faith, and support the ongoing development of our parish.

The event will be graced by the auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Lilongwe, Right Reverend Vincent Fredrick Mwakhwawa.
