Maula Parish to Host 'Global Rosary for Peace' this Saturday

The Maula Parish (Our Lady of Africa) of the Catholic Archdiocese of Lilongwe, has invited the faithful to join a global prayer movement this coming weekend.

The parish will host a Global Rosary for Peace event on Saturday, 30th May 2026, starting at 7:00 PM. The evemt will take place at the Maula Parish Grotto.

The event aims to unite local parishioners with Pope Leo XIV and Catholics worldwide.

Together, we will pray for peace, reconciliation, and hope through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of Peace.

The global prayer initiative will focus on several key intentions, including:

* Victims of war

* Those who bring hope and faith

* Medical workers and humanitarian aid personnel

* Those who suffer the violence of war, as well as prisoners

* An end to war and the establishment of lasting peace

All are welcome to attend and participate in this worldwide spiritual event.
