On November 16, 2025, the Pontifical Mission Societies (PMS) Malawi, officially launched the preparatory activities for the upcoming Epiphany Sunday celebration, scheduled for January 4, 2026, at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Parish, Likuni, in the Archdiocese of Lilongwe, with strong participation from the Holy Childhood (Tilitonse) Ministry.
The children from of Our Lady of Africa Maula Cathedral actively engaged in various activities, including Scripture readings, showcasing their commitment to missionary work.

The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by the Auxiliary Bishop of Lilongwe, Right Reverend Vincent Mwakhwawa, who urged children to remain prayerful in their daily lives as a way of staying connected to Christ. He emphasized:
“Children should also love to receive Jesus Christ through the Blessed Sacrament of the Eucharist.”

Bishop Mwakhwawa further reminded the children of their missionary responsibility—to serve the Lord by contributing to the Holy Childhood Missionary through their offertory. He called on both children and animators to lead by example in nurturing a deep love for the Eucharist and for reading the Word of God:
“Children and animators should be at the forefront, helping Holy Childhood members build a strong love for the Sacrament of the Eucharist and for Scripture.”
